Hey, remember that time the National School Boards Association sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland to look into the “domestic terrorists” who were showing up at school board meetings under the guise of concerned parents? That backfired in a big way against the NSBA, but it didn’t convince Garland to dismantle his FBI task force to police school board meetings.
Now that the Washington Post has reported that Libs of TikTok inspired a bomb threat that force the Boston Children’s Hospital to be evacuated, people are demanding action against these “stochastic terrorists” online who were inspiring these threats. (Plus the Post was wrong; there was a threat, but the hospital was never evacuated.)
Now we have the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Children’s Hospital Association writing to Garland and asking him to investigate and prosecute those who are behind these threats. We’ve been assured that along with Libs of TikTok, also guilty are Billboard Chris, Matt Walsh, and Christopher Rufo, who posted a copy of the letter:

They write:
These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families. The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions. Our organizations have called on technology companies to do more to prevent this practice on digital platforms, and we now urge your office to take swift action to investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities responsible.
So they want the Department of Justice to look into high-profile social media accounts that are involved in “an intentional campaign of disinformation.” That’s funny … all of this started when Libs of TikTok and others simply reposted videos that Boston Children’s Hospital had put online themselves to advertise their gender-affirming care. But they must have known they’d inspire bomb threats with their disinformation.
Look, bomb threats are bad — don’t do it. But what’s also bad is asking the DOJ to investigate and prosecute individuals posting this “false and misleading information.”
This is now the Left's playbook: last year, the National School Board Association, Department of Justice, and F.B.I. worked together to label parents who opposed critical race theory "domestic terrorists." They want to stifle dissent, suppress speech, and criminalize opposition.

The morality of this situation is blindingly clear:
