As Twitchy reported earlier, Gov. Ron DeSantis tweeted that “looting and lawlessness will not be tolerated” as Hurricane Ian batters Florida, and warned people thinking of looting homes that “you never know what may be lurking” behind someone’s door. MSNBC’s Joy Reid dug up a quote from 1967 from segregationist Miami sheriff Walter E. Headley to demonize DeSantis: “When the looting starts, the shooting starts.” How is that segregationist, though, unless you consider all looters to be black?

We don’t think he was threatening violence … we think he was giving would-be looters some good advice.
It seems Russian agent Christina Pushaw and her 25 follower trolls were unleashed at 3am (or 10am Moscow time)
No one is saying looting isn’t wrong. It’s an obvious crime. But DeSantis is claiming Florida is a “Second Amendment state” when that’s literally in all 50 states.
