Good one: President Joe Biden is praying that we all figure out how to come together

We’re not sure of the context here, but it sounds like President Joe “Unity” Biden is admitting that he’s failed at bringing the country together, which was one of his campaign promises. Biden could use some prayers to help us all figure out how to come together better than we have so far. Is it dawning on him that saying 74 million Trump voters had “semi-fascist” underpinnings wasn’t the way to do it? Putting together an FBI task force to investigate school board meetings for domestic terrorists? There really is nothing Biden could say to bring the country together — it would take a massive 9/11-like event to make people put aside politics and unite as Americans.

And to be honest, it doesn’t help that all of the mainstream media is on board with the demonization of “extreme MAGA,” “white Christian nationalists,” “white supremacists,” “Nazis,” and “Christofascists.” See, for example, Jennifer Rubin’s recent column on there being no possible outreach to Nazis flashing “Nazi-like” salutes.

Maybe have Ron Klain stop retweeting every Rubin tweet for a start.
