As promised, Christopher Rufo is back with more documents and slides from yet another school district’s training for staff and administrators. We’ve given up on critical race theory for a bit and are looking into queer theory and how schools are shaping their curriculums around it. The documents for the San Diego Unified School District are very similar to others that Rufo has posted; for example, white European colonizers created a false “gender binary” and imposed it upon the two-spirited indigenous peoples.
SCOOP: San Diego Unified School District claims that heterosexuality is “a system of oppression,” promotes the idea that girls can have penises, and encourages children to adopt synthetic sexual identities such as “pansexual,” “genderqueer,” and “two-spirit.”
Here's the story.🧵

The district has gone all-in on radical gender theory. The teacher training program mimics the narrative of the academic literature: white Europeans created a false “gender binary”—“man” and “woman”—that “oppresses trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender-nonconforming people.” pic.twitter.com/lPL4lqZCOo

The gender binary is “a social construct that situates ‘male’ and ‘female’ as synonymous with ‘man’ and ‘woman’ and dictates how people assigned to these categories should act. This limited system excludes and oppresses trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender-nonconforming people.”
According to the district, the gender binary has resulted in a system of “heteronormativity” that distributes “heterosexual and cisgender privilege”—the sexual analog of “white privilege”—that “results in institutional power” for straight white men. pic.twitter.com/5mHOD52ZkN

If you’re straight, you probably don’t even realize that you have “heterosexual and cisgender privilege.”
The solution, the district suggests, is to dismantle “heteronormativity” and the “gender binary.” This means eliminating gendered language and promoting synthetic sexual identities such as “transgender,” “genderqueer,” “non-binary,” “pansexual,” “asexual,” and “two-spirit.” pic.twitter.com/GFAeO1gGCU

What do LGBTQ students want teachers to know? “I use they/them pronouns and identify as genderfluid. I’m passionate about gender eradication and POC movements.” Did you catch that? Gender eradication?
Teachers are encouraged to share the principles of radical gender theory with their students and show them pictures of a woman with a beard, a boy in a dress, a teenage girl with a “genderqueer” identity, a boy wearing a tiara, and an infant with a “gender neutral baby name.” pic.twitter.com/bJIZ5MT6XF

San Diego Unified encourages teachers to promote “nonbinary identities” to Latino children. They want a “linguistic revolution to move beyond gender binaries,” including use of the term “Latinx,” which “makes room for people who are trans, queer, agender, nonbinary,” etc. pic.twitter.com/G3MpM9ImDu

Next, in a sexual education curriculum produced in partnership with Planned Parenthood, the district promotes the use of the terms “people with a penis” and “people with a vulva,” because girls can have penises and boys can have vaginas. pic.twitter.com/SXDCUfWJbm

Finally, San Diego Unified trains teachers to use the principles of radical gender theory to answer questions such as: “How do gay people have sex?”; “What is porn?”; and “What does semen taste like?” pic.twitter.com/Txi2uen90B

How would you respond if a student asked what semen tastes like? How could you make your response inclusive of all students?
If only they would put this much zeal into teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Time for lament is over. Time for punitive counter-action is near.

Looks like I won’t be moving to San Diego anytime soon.

I have zero problems with the rainbow community, as individuals. But as a group I find them aggressive and unforgiven towards others who do not share their worldview. It's like hostile take-over. How is it possible such a minority can take over language and education?

By playing on the majority’s “guilt” over having been privileged for so long.
Defund government schools.
