Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg floats an idea to prevent deadly train crashes

It was a deadly weekend for trains. CNN reports that on Sunday, an Amtrak train passing through an intersection without crossing gates in rural Brentwood, California, collided with a passenger vehicle, killing three people and causing major injuries to two others. On Monday, an Amtrak train derailed in Missouri, killing at least three people.
