Joy Behar says it's important to mark Juneteenth because voting rights are systematically being taken away from African Americans

We learned from Sara Haines that Juneteenth feels like a more authentic celebration of freedom than Independence Day, while Joy Behar added that it was especially important on Juneteenth to acknowledge the effort to take away blacks’ right to vote.

Behar says the reason it's important to celebrate Juneteenth now is that "we should be aware on a day like this that voting rights are being systematically taken away from African Americans and other people too in this country."
