Psychotherapist leads talk on transphobic information from parents who are bigoted, misinformed, and religious

OK, this post is a rerun of sorts, but with new tweets that make it worth revisiting. As Twitchy reported this week, Christopher Rufo had a scoop on a transgender conference that the School District of Philadelphia reportedly encouraged teachers to attend as part of its commitment to “creating equitable and inclusive environments,” and also so that the teachers could “learn more about the issues facing the trans community.” We left out the tweets showing graphic depictions of sex toys that were demonstrated at the conference, and we’re going to do that again. Rufo has added some more slides to his new thread, though, and they’re pretty alarming.

We’re skipping the next tweet, but we’ll tell you that trans activist Chase Ross demonstrates artificial penis “packers” in a presentation open to minors. “If you’re a kid, and you want a prosthetic that’s a little bit smaller, like, this is the way to go.”

Here’s psychotherapist and author Rachel Simon who agrees that “bigoted, misinformed” parents can be a bad source of information for teens.
