Ever since Nina Jankowicz, the Marry Poppins of disinformation, was announced to head the DHS’ new Disinformation Governance Board, people have been going through her Twitter feed to find out just how good she is at rooting out disinformation. For example, when the Hunter Biden story was being suppressed by the media and on social media, Jankowicz said that voters deserved context, “not a fairy tale about a laptop repair shop.”
Now there’s yet another old tweet that’s making the rounds again, this time about the Steele dossier. The Washington Free Beacon initially hired Fusion GPS to dig up opposition research on candidate Donald Trump, but 1) the Free Beacon is not the Republican Party, and 2) the Steele dossier hadn’t been commissioned until the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign put up the money to pay for it. Here’s Jankowicz responding to Sen. Lindsey Graham saying it was long past time for a special counsel to investigate the Clinton email scandal, the role of Fusion GPS, and FBI and DOJ bias during the campaign.
It’s long past time for a Special Counsel to investigate Clinton email scandal, Uranium One, role of Fusion GPS, and FBI and DOJ bias during 2016 campaign.

Your party funded the dossier first… and if there was FBI and DOJ bias during 2016, it was certainly against Clinton. FBI was investigating Trump since summer but didn't make it public. American public deserved to know.

We do know … now … that the DNC and the Clinton campaign funded the Steele dossier. We also know that lawyers from the Clinton campaign started the bogus story, spread by Clinton, about Trump’s secret back channel to the Russian Alfa Bank.
I can see why they made you the disinformation czar. You're great at it.
— Antonio Martinez (@djtechchicago) May 9, 2022
You're really terrible at this aren't you?
— Jesus = Answer (@hollis4congress) April 28, 2022
No, they never funded the dossier.
— Chip Atkinson Failed Statirist (@AtkinsonChip) May 9, 2022
No the Republicans did not fund the dossier.
— David Ryan (@dryan310556) May 9, 2022
This didn't age well lmao

Wow and you still haven’t removed this delusional tweet 🤡
— Juggernaut Reborn (@Meglado00149335) May 9, 2022
That's not even close to truthful.

When they appointed a minister of disinformation I assumed it was to be AGAINST it
— Jasnotron (@jasnotron) May 9, 2022
How often do you fall for disinformation, expert?
— boomer libertarian (@BevevinoJohn) May 9, 2022
Wow, this tweet looks like it should have been reported to the Ministry Of Truth
— AtlantaStu 1776 (@AtlantaStu) May 9, 2022
FISA, Sussman indictments… you’re behind on the news on this one.
— ScoobyWho (@scoobywho2021) May 9, 2022
The head of Biden’s Ministry of Truth spreading actual disinformation back in 2017 — Clinton and the DNC were fined by the FEC in March for not disclosing that they funded the dossier. Did Nina ever correct this?

This sure sounds like disinformation.

So we're clear, you're a neutral arbiter of facts, right?
— NavyDigi (@NavyDigi) May 9, 2022
This is literally disinformation.

Excuse us, Minister Jankowicz, but this tweet is still up:
