Alleged troll whose hot take made Bad Legal Takes says he's going to sue for defamation if it's not taken down

The account Libs of Tik Tok, which reposts videos posted to the public on TikTok, has been suspended a couple of times recently for hateful behavior … which we guess consists of amplifying the reach of someone who put out a public video in hopes of being seen. Another essential follow is Bad Legal Takes, and we have a bonus: a bad legal take followed up with another bad legal take. Apparently retweeting someone verbatim is defamation.

His original tweet is still up, so apparently, he believes President Joe Biden should use “his” anti-trust powers to keep Elon Musk from buying Twitter. That is a bad legal take, and the idea that he could sue for “defamation” is another bad legal take.
