As Twitchy has reported, Monday was President Joe Biden’s big presentation on gun control, since that’s the No. 1 issue facing Americans today, after inflation, gas prices, Ukraine, the border, and just about anything else you could think of. Biden daintily picked up a ghost gun to show to reporters (that it’s just another gun) and also named his new pick to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms after his last pick, David Chipman, flamed out and withdrew his name from consideration thanks to some racist remarks uncovered by Stephen Gutowski at The Reload.
People are already scouring the Twitter feed of Biden’s new pick, Steve Dettelback, and found this winner from 2016:
We salute #MuhammadAli as a great American. Sadly, we need to acknowledge that Donald Trump wouldn't even allow him to come into America.

What a idiotic statement. He was born in Kentucky. That is a part of the USA. 🤔🤭

Are you saying that the ATF does not have jurisdiction in the “foreign country” of Kentucky?

Did they move the state of Kentucky out of the United States? Do you know who Cassius Clay is? Good Lord.

Muhammad Ali had to cross the Ohio River to come to the United States. Everyone knows that. So says the former US Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio. Jesus.

Muhammad Ali was born in America. Withdraw from consideration for the ATF position. Don’t embarrass yourself at the hearing(s).

Absolute 🤡

So you just assumed he wasn’t born in America because of his (non-birth) name? If only we had a term for that 🤔

It's difficult these days but you managed to make government employees look even worse

He should have taken his Twitter account private like so many other of Biden’s nominees.
