Insurrection Week is over, but they were still keeping the ball rolling over on MSNBC this week. Former Lincoln Project bigwig Steve Schmidt was a guest of Nicolle Wallace (as was Rep. Adam Schiff) and tried to put House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s role in the Capitol riot in proper perspective, naming McCarthy among the most villainous figures in American history and saying he should be put in a locked basement until he testifies before the January 6 select committee.

Mediaite notes that Schmidt also said that McCarthy should be handcuffed and put in a locked basement until he testifies before the committee.
