Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw has had a busy day Thursday after the Washington Post published a story about Democrats wondering where the governor is “as Florida shatters its record for new coronavirus cases.” We do know where President Biden is when the United States racks up its biggest spike in cases: He told governors “peace out,” the crisis is in their hands, and flew to Delaware to walk his new puppy on the beach while wearing a mask. But no one seems concerned about that — where’s DeSantis? Is he on vacation? Is he sick?
They’re trying to make this a Sen. Ted Cruz in Cancun moment, and it’s working.
