Townhall columnist Kurt Schlichter already has a series of books under his belt, but now he has a pitch for a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie that really has people excited. Let’s hope he follows up with a script, and Kristy Swanson gets on board.
Hallmark movie about a beautiful but unlucky in love DC Dem consultant who goes to WV to yell at Manchin over Christmas and falls in love with a rough-hewn carpenter who drives a Tahoe with a Trump 2024 sticker.

100% would watch https://t.co/j7QxEE5gaG

There are no beautiful DC Dems. She would have to initially be ugly, but over Christmas take off her glasses, take down her hair, and get a makeover. š

I'm literally getting script notes from everyone on right Twitter.

with cameoās by @KristySwansonXO and @yesnicksearcy as that lovable but quirky āKringleā couple who always seem to show up when the going gets tough

I donāt do cameos. My day rate is too high.

Ellie Kemper + Zachary Levi. He brings her home for Christmas dinner and Sam Elliot is the dad.

Starring @RealDeanCain @Alyssa_Milano
— Jim Loeffler (@JLElectricOrbit) December 20, 2021
Correction. Starring @RealDeanCain and @KristySwansonXO as Julia, the Obama composite girl of Alyssa Milano, Brie Larson and Chelsea Handler. Hilarity ensues when her Prius runs aground on a dirt road. #BuildBackBitter

Don't forget the obligatory meeting scene where her rental car gets stuck/gets a flat tire in the snow and she's trying to fix it in a pant suit and high heels, when said carpenter comes along…
— Gibbsville Man (@GibbsvilleMan) December 20, 2021
The twist is that her car becomes trapped in the snow and while she's waiting for rescue, she catches a nasty cold and contracts laryngitis.
The fact that she can't speak for a few days is the only reason the carpenter can stand to be around her.

The studio is interested, but can we make him a coal miner? https://t.co/A7C1bOZIUe

The "DC consultant" is actually from (and lives in) Falls Church, but tells everyone they're from DC. WV person should work in mining not carpentry.
— Bunky Luffman (@BunkyLuffman) December 20, 2021
It is the "beautiful DC Dem consultant" that makes the whole thing a fairy tale…
— CapsNut (@Caps_Nut) December 20, 2021
I'm honestly not sure the carpenter would be stupid enough to give her the time of day, let alone fall for her. Because, let's face it, a girl doing this is probably morbidly obese, with short purple hair and 27 piercings hanging from every bodily appendage.

"Take Me Home Country Roads" has to be the title, right? @KurtSchlichter https://t.co/GAJNVTATLV
