We’ve told you about Colin Kaepernick’s new Netflix special, “Colin in Black and White,” which NPR said delivered its message “with storytelling subtle as a sledgehammer.” There was that subtle bit where NFL training camp was compared to a slave auction, with the auctioneer depicted stepping through time to shake hands with the coach. (Apparently, white players aren’t examined by coaches and team doctors.)
That special was co-created by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ava DuVernay (who has us blocked), who is still calling Kyle Rittenhouse a murderer despite his being cleared of all charges by a jury. She brings with her a message from Anthony Huber’s parents.
John Huber and Karen Bloom, parents of murderer #KyleRittenhouse’s victim Anthony Huber: the verdict “sends the unacceptable message that armed civilians can show up in any town, incite violence, and then use the danger they have created to justify shooting people in the street.” pic.twitter.com/zhfMCIsXIk

“Incite violence?” We’re pretty sure it was Joseph Rosenbaum who was running his mouth about cutting people’s hearts out.
It actually sends the message that if you try to smash someone’s head in with a skateboard and steal their gun, they have the right to use deadly force in self-defense
Anthony Huber was no victim
He was an assailant https://t.co/Upvcl9poeV

Interesting take. Maybe if someone was not there inciting violence then others would not have been there trying to stop it.

You know when they lock the comments they have a strong argument.

And of course she restricted her replies so it will just be an echo chamber of her fellow travelers

Another brave SJW who has her account permanently set so only her sycophant followers can reply.

Some of the "entertainment" people making libelous statements might want to think again. Rittenhouse has been declared not guilty by a court of law.

Amazing how many people continue to slander/libel the kid. I hope someone saves all of these tweets for the lawsuits.

I was feeling bad for the parents in the sense they obviously have a mentally deranged son. I think I’m over it now.
— Hiding In California (@hidingincali) November 20, 2021
Notice its ok for their son to show up in a town, participate in violence, but paying a price for that participation is somehow wrong. Another set of parents that never held their child accountable for anything he did in life.
— Steve 🇺🇸 (@Imkillintime) November 20, 2021
I would normally not say something like this but if that’s their mentality then they should take a hard look at their parenting decision that led him to cause his death.
— High speed four-seater (@lonelychairlift) November 20, 2021
These parents failed their child by not teaching him to not bring a skateboard to a gun fight
— Mike P Roney (@mikep_roney) November 20, 2021
Were they describing Kyle or their son? Anthony was armed with a skateboard, incited violence and used the danger he created to justify hitting people.
— Owned you (@BuhrandonL) November 20, 2021
These people want to be deluded. The video is clear who invited the violence. They choose to ignore it. Kyle had as much or more reason to be in that town than any of the people who attacked him. It is clear who ‘created the danger’ as well. Rioting violent leftist felons.

There is the reasoning behind these evil assholes. He shouldn't have been there burning property down and hitting anyone with a skateboard. It was a fight till the death. You get what you asked for. His parents gave him a poor upbringing.
— Abednego Onatopp (@ProdigalBonchea) November 20, 2021
I usually don't give parents a hard time. Regardless that's their child. We know he was wrong but if it were your child you'd be grieving. 🤷♀️

Grieving parents say amazing things
— ZeithBear? (@NotZeithBear) November 20, 2021
I avoid being shot every day by not hitting people in the head with a skateboard.
— 🇺🇸FactsHurtFeelings🇺🇸 (@FactsHurtFeeli2) November 20, 2021
@ava All the felons ran the kid down on the street like a pack of hyenas and then tried caving his skull in with a lethal weapon. Twice. There are no heroes in this story so quit trying to make some Homeric legend out it. Ffs.

Peopls are really coming unglued over self defense. Unbelievable.

The message the verdict sends to me is if you want to protest & assemble do it peacefully and you will be fine
