'Welcome to the re-education of America': Facebook temporarily hiding posts with the #revolution hashtag

It’s Independence Day weekend, but don’t try tagging your post #revolution on Facebook, as the social media giant is temporarily hiding such posts as some go against Facebook’s community standards. Rep. Thomas Massie made the discovery:

Too many far-right-wing white supremacist militia groups out there planning their next attack on the government on Facebook while Antifa beats up street preachers protesting a naked male in a women’s spa.

Between this and Facebook’s warning that you might have been exposed to extremist content, it’s a banner week for social media.
