It’s Independence Day weekend, but don’t try tagging your post #revolution on Facebook, as the social media giant is temporarily hiding such posts as some go against Facebook’s community standards. Rep. Thomas Massie made the discovery:
Welcome to the re-education of America on Independence Day weekend… pic.twitter.com/JAQU2BxGOG

Too many far-right-wing white supremacist militia groups out there planning their next attack on the government on Facebook while Antifa beats up street preachers protesting a naked male in a women’s spa.
Good grief

Can we ban Community and Safe? Asking for a friend!
— Joanne Dunne (@jedunne) July 3, 2021
That’s funny. It’s their revolution they are censoring.
— Paula L. Wilson (@plwpic) July 3, 2021
I’m sure #socialistrevolution would be acceptable 🤔
— Jake scheel (@5cheel) July 3, 2021
The irony is actually hilarious! Frightening but hilarious 🤣

If there was ever a time for #revolution in this country it's now

Ministry of Truth back at it again.

It’s super scary when people talk about revolution. Thankfully we have Big Brother protecting us from scary discussions. 🤦♂️

It’s been sad to see innovators become totalitarian rent seekers. My wife and I are deleting our accounts this weekend. It’s just the first step. Google, LinkedIn, and more are all on the chopping block.

No re-education without representation

If only the King of England had a Minister of Truth like Zuckerberg in 1776…
— Michael Jones (@77MJones) July 3, 2021
Its funny, but not funny. This is dangerous and has to be stopped.
— Keith Pumroy (@KeithPumroy) July 3, 2021
The revolution won’t be televised.
It will be censored by @Google @Twitter and @Facebook

The dumabassery continues.

Oh wow…I feel so much safer now that they've hidden such a scary word. They need to hide #IndependenceDay and #AmericaFirst too because they're just too terrifying to think about!
— GodFamilyCountry🇺🇸Patriot (@BeckieSirolli) July 3, 2021
Correct me if I am wrong but Facebook has not limited #Resist?

Between this and Facebook’s warning that you might have been exposed to extremist content, it’s a banner week for social media.
