When the Daily Mail reported June 8 that Hunter Biden had casually dropped the N-word in text conversations with his white lawyer, whom he told “I only love you because you’re black” and accused of charging “Hennessy rates,” we said the story would never get past the Daily Mail. We certainly knew it wasn’t going to make Brian Stelter’s newsletter let alone be mentioned on air. But CNN White House correspondent John Haywood — who’s already proved himself to be a DNC operative today — did mention Hunter Biden Monday. It wasn’t in the context of those texts, nor in the New York Post story that was banned from social media for being Russian disinformation, but in the context of former President Trump calling for an investigation into his dealings with China.
Harwood outs himself right away by treating Trump’s joke that maybe Russia had Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails as collusion with Vladimir Putin — although they’d probably more likely be found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop.
