Zachary Petrizzo is a reporter covering politics for The Daily Dot, and does he have a scoop Thursday. It turns out that Rep. Dan Crenshaw is following a high-dollar escort on Twitter.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw is currently following an escort on Twitter who charges $1,500 per hour. pic.twitter.com/FPoj0tYQil

Petrizzo didn’t tag Crenshaw in his tweet, but the congressman got back to him anyway.
Grow up people, no one on my staff, nor I, purposefully followed this account. Thanks for flagging. Passwords changed.

Well, it was a good scandal while it lasted, right?
So?

And?

Hey man, don’t do this.

I don't think they want to play this game.

Who gives a shit? When did journalists become tattletale sex monitors? https://t.co/OHJRBEBuXQ
— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) December 17, 2020
We thought sex work was work and not a source of shame.
This is embarrassing and in any other scenario you'd be dragged for misogyny and shaming sex workers.
Its just, painfully cringe… https://t.co/KeMqyXdQ38

This only makes Crenshaw appear more badass. https://t.co/wiKWX90f2f

This is the stuff we need to look out for.
We should forgive masturbating on work zoom calls or having throuples with subordinates but following an escort on Twitter is beyond the pale.
It’s weird and we should make fun of it but I’ll equally mock people who believe the above
