We’ve had a lot of stories on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Wednesday, mostly about the lack of leadership coming from the man who wrote the book on how to deal with the COVID-19 epidemic. For reasons that escape us, independent bookseller Book Revue is hosting a conversation between Cuomo and singer Billy Joel about Cuomo’s book, “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
Tonight: Governor Cuomo and Billy Joel in conversation, live on Zoom.

I’m guessing the nursing home question might not be on your set list.
— Janice Dean (@JaniceDean) November 18, 2020
Good call.
Jeez Billy come on! You gonna ask him about the nursing homes? Because if not, what's the point?
— Victoria (@VictoriaAnne75) November 18, 2020
Probably nothing about schools either
— Shannon Fenner (@ShannonFenner3) November 18, 2020
Can you ask him about opening up schools and maybe why he killed off all the old people in nursing homes?
— Mortality & Hospitalizations (@txsalth2o) November 18, 2020
Hard pass.
— Jann Rush (@nhmomrkj) November 18, 2020
C'mon @billyjoel it's not necessary to promote him or his book any further
— Rosalind Pagano Lessin (@RosalindPagano) November 18, 2020
No thanks. Love Billy, but Cuomo has been awful for New York.
— Karemy (@kmeyer1229) November 18, 2020
This is satire, right? Please tell me it is
— Brett Y. (@brett_yokum) November 18, 2020
Douchefest…..

As someone who has been to 5 live concerts, from the age of 10 on…I say this with complete disdain.
WHAT THE ACTUAL F ARE YOU THINKING?!
New hits debuted tonight:
“Scenes from Cuomo’s Empty Restaurants”
“COVID Man”
“Say Goodbye To Grandma”
“Lullabye (Goodbye My Business)”

I think I’ll skip this ?
— J Clem (@clemroc44) November 19, 2020
Wait. NY is getting absolutely slammed again with COVID and this guy is STILL promoting his book about how he did such a great job with COVID?!?!

ASK HIM WHY THE SCHOOLS ARE CLOSING!!!!
— SandyS (@SandyS121718) November 18, 2020
That’s why Cuomo was so irritable at his press conference about non important things like schools closing. He had more important things to do than Govern. He has celebrity interviews to do!!
— LoneWolfMcquade78 (@jjremi1978) November 19, 2020
Some questions, why is he taking a raise while the state is in deficit and why did he send Covid positive patients to nursing homes with vulnerable populations?
— KWBlues (@kw_blues) November 19, 2020
Sorry @billyjoel no longer listening. @NYGovCuomo killed 30,000 seniors in NYS. #CuomoKills
— Don Stack (@Donaldstack1) November 19, 2020
Please stay away from this crook responsible for so many senior citizen deaths
— Suburban Dad (@SuburbanDadLI) November 18, 2020
Ask him if he feels even a little bit of guilt for his orders placing COVID positive patients back into assisted living facilities.
— President-Elect Koheeba ?? (@Koheeba2) November 18, 2020
I hope you know you're hanging out with a scumbag
— GeorgiaSportsReport (@GaSportsReport) November 18, 2020
Ask him how many people he murdered.
— Biglittlebilly2 (@biglittlebilly2) November 19, 2020
Plugging a book during a pandemic is disgusting.
— cat456 (@kidcat4562) November 19, 2020
Did anyone you know die in a care facility? Must be a no
— SandyToes (@sandytoes77) November 19, 2020
Here's an ice breaker… Ask him why my mother's dead?
— TK Rodriguez (@urbano411) November 19, 2020
Is this a comedy routine? Because Cuomo is a pathetic joke.
— Deb Ramey (@ramey_deb) November 19, 2020
How embarrassing for you
— Karebear 412 (@naughtross) November 18, 2020
Two old guys that will be in nursing homes soon. I'm willing to bet they will leave NY for that.
— Carlos Chump Delecto (@CarlosDilecto) November 18, 2020
Seriously Billy? This man put covid patients into a nursing facility and caused unnecessary death AND wrote a book about what a great job he did. You guys are so out of touch with America these days. Maybe step outside of your mansions and talk to regular folks.
— Terri ???? (@tessie11_terri) November 18, 2020
Cuomo has plenty to answer for.
