Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is headed to Kentucky Monday with President Donald Trump to campaign for Matt Bevin, and they’ve got company on the plane.
Quite a crew on the plane with Trump to Kentucky today: Mitch McConnell, Rep. Brett Guthrie, Rep. Mark Meadows, Kellyanne Conway, Corey Lewandowski, RNC chair Ronna McDaniel.

Conservative and CNN contributor Amanda Carpenter can’t seem to believe the irony that McConnell would just hop on a plane with “the defendant” in a possible future impeachment hearing.
Mitch McConnell couldn’t possibly comment on the impeachment trial he may be a juror for in the Senate but…he can hop on a plane with the defendant. And maybe talk fundraising, too. https://t.co/IHAVsa4gWS

Damn right they’ll talk about fundraising.
Outstanding.

The Senate Majority Leader took a plane back to his home state with the POTUS…
Might want to save your outrage for things actually worthy of outrage. https://t.co/XStzueHTSi

By this logic, I can never fly because I might be a juror against a fellow passenger someday. Ridiculous.

Generally you don't become a defendant until charges are filed. Like for instance I can tweet a response to you even though at some later date you may be indicted for murdering rational thought in the furtherence of inane punditry.
— Henry Chinaski (@ashsoles) November 4, 2019
This comparison is asinine. Shocking coming from you.
— JenniferW (@JenWoodruff79) November 4, 2019
What defendant?
It's an impeachment inquiry. There is no defendant. Are you saying the fix is in and they are going to go for the impeachment trial no matter what the evidence say?
Big if true.
— Sage Kronsell (@sleyheron) November 4, 2019
Because there is no trial is there? Why do you live in hypotheticals?
— Petey Pow Pow (@Brandontheblade) November 4, 2019
Are you seriously suggesting Senators should ostracize the President just in case the House ever gets around to impeaching him?
— PreviouslyKnownAsSomeoneElse (@DryHumorDryBeef) November 4, 2019
Ah the "All Republicans must recuse" gambit
— Comfortably ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (@Eyeroll_Shrugs) November 4, 2019
“Republicans can’t talk to Trump because we will eventually find something to impeach him on”
You’re a joke
— frogo (@CasualBoycott) November 4, 2019
Why would he comment when nothing has been turned over to senate? Faux outrage
— D Mac- (@dougm7914) November 4, 2019
Get a Grip with your faux outrage. Bummed a ride and saved tax payer funds.

I’m old enough to remember when Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch in a private airplane on the tarmac of the Phoenix airport just days before Hillary was exonerated for purposefully mishandling classified material. Good times.

I'm sure they are just talking about grandkids.
