Megyn Kelly is back — she did three segments on Tucker Carlson’s No. 1 rated show this week, and Fox News viewers were hungry for more.
National scold and ABC News analyst Matthew Dowd has since deleted his tweet, but you know what? He really doesn’t want to hear from either Matt Lauer or Megyn Kelly. “Can’t they just fade away and enjoy their large pot of money?” Nice sticking an accused rapist in there with Kelly as if there were any equivalence whatsoever.
Kelly hit back:
Yes, I could just sit back and “enjoy my money,” @matthewjdowd, but instead I’ve chosen to speak up for women being harassed and abused who have been muzzled by NDAs. Sorry you find that so annoying. https://t.co/Fy86s5QTsF

Megyn, i am all for that, and if you read my feed you would know that. However, did you stand up for Christine Blasey Ford, Anita Hill, and all the accusers of President Trump? Also, i know you are blasting NBC, but i don’t see you saying much about Fox.
— Matthew Dowd (@matthewjdowd) October 19, 2019
.@matthewjdowd – umm, there is a whole movie about me standing up for the women at Fox. & I put Trump accusers on the air. Also my job as a reporter was not to “stand up” for Blasey-Ford. It was to report fairly on her w/o taking a side. You should try it sometime. https://t.co/lLnOCSrm0I

By the way, I devoted an entire chapter of my book to the harassment scandal at Fox and discussed it on virtually every network. It was a NYT #1 Best Seller. You should read it! #settleformore https://t.co/lLnOCSrm0I

There’s no one more sanctimonious (which is probably why he has us blocked).
And yet, you are lumping @megynkelly with Lauer.
Do you really think that is intellectually fair, @matthewjdowd?
— Pradheep J. Shanker (@Neoavatara) October 19, 2019
Nothing fair about it. Or smart.
And imagine thinking it's the media's JOB to STAND UP for all accusers like Ford.
Hey Dowd, the media's JOB is to provide unbiased and factual reporting. Wherever that leads.

Yikes this was a bad idea

Haha! Delete this. Are you kidding me? Were you awake in 2015 and 2016?

She wrote about Roger Ailes and Fox IN HER BOOK. She spoke about it during her interviews when promoting her book.

More than just talk about it in the media, she took action and was instrumental in bringing down Ailes. She and Gretchen were incredibly brave in taking him on, and bringing him down. They were like a perfect 1-2 punch ?

If I recall correctly, ABC had its own little scandal. Maybe there’s more “there” there.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you

Stay down, Dowd.

Telling a woman what they can and can’t say is so super woke man.

Matt Dowd, the independent analyst at ABC News who is very very very independent, demanding Megyn Kelly "stand up for" Christine Ford, and boasting he is the more objective person, makes an enormous amount of sense. He is very independent btw.
— David Rutz (@DavidRutz) October 19, 2019
He’s so independent he won’t let anyone tell him when it’s time to put down the shovel and start digging.
Megyn, i wish you well. I would put my objectivity up against yours any day of the week. You worked at Fox News.
— Matthew Dowd (@matthewjdowd) October 19, 2019
I think the words you’re looking for are “I’m sorry, I was wrong.” Apology accepted! https://t.co/6YOOrDXqFo
— Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) October 19, 2019
And now we take you live to Janice Dean, who also had a few words for Dowd:
I’d like you to fade away.
