Actor Jason Momoa declares that people 'are a disease that is infecting our planet'

Here’s something you don’t see often: an actor you kind of liked who turns around and says something stupid and ruins it for you. We can only imagine it’s because he played Aquaman that the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) invited actor Jason Momoa to speak on climate change and plastic pollution.

They do call him an actor and advocate for the oceans on their graphic, which is kind of funny, because we’re old enough to remember when Ted Danson was an actor and advocate for the oceans and said they’d all be dead within 10 years.

What else was in his speech that UNESCO thought this was the quote to pull?

Honestly … would it be so hard to just say, “Let’s stop polluting the oceans”? No, instead humanity has to be eradicated.
