Brian Fallon, a former aide to the scandal-free pair of Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton, isn’t happy to hear that it looks like the Supreme Court is going to allow the 2020 census to include a citizenship question.
Just got out of census arguments. I think SCOTUS will uphold the Trump administration’s addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census by a 5–4 vote.

Imagine that … wanting some count of how many non-citizens are living in the United States. States like California are deathly afraid illegal aliens won’t fill out and return the census, and that will affect how many representatives the state is allocated. Plus, more people, legal or illegal, means more federal money.

Yes, the idea that this case is even close is a travesty.

Agree. We need more conservative justices.

How is this even an issue? The government can ask any damn question they want on the census

How dare we only count Americans
— Bo Gabbard (@oKentucky) April 23, 2019
Precedent has allowed for these questions on the census. The fact that 4 partisan hacks dissent on this issue shows me that, yes, we DO need court reform.

It was a question all along until Obama removed it. I’m not seeing the big deal.

Exactly… this should be a 9-0 decision for Trump
— Edel Barrett (@delibird910) April 23, 2019
I'm surprised it's 5-4 in favor instead of 9-0 in favor with no one seriously questioning the validity of the census question.

Anyone screaming for court reform when they don’t like the makeup of SCOTUS or screaming for the end of the electoral college when they lose elections portrays exactly who they are: Self-righteous ideologues who besmirch the Constitution and are driven by the need for power.
— Patrick (@Tall_6ft8_guy) April 23, 2019
Just curious if the vote was 5-4 in opposition would we need court reform then?
