Bernie Sanders' plan to increase voter turnout: Let the Boston Marathon bomber vote from prison; Update: Kamala Harris is open to it

There are a lot of CNN town halls going on tonight — Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg are all getting their hour in the spotlight — so a lot of crazy things are being said. Yes, Sanders doubled down on calling the current Israeli government racist, but he really showed his commitment to increasing voter turnout by saying that even the Boston Marathon bomber should be allowed to vote from prison.

So there’s, like, literally nothing you could do that could cost you your right to vote under a Sanders administration.

But seriously, folks: of all the Democrats who’ve actually declared, he’s running in first place by a large margin.
