As Twitchy reported Friday, Bre Payton, staff writer for The Federalist, passed away at age 26. Tests determined that she had contracted the H1N1 flu and possibly meningitis and slipped into a coma.
The AP already showed little class by describing Payton first and foremost as a pundit who had complained about fake news coverage about President Trump during recent appearances on Fox News — never mind her impressive body of work at such a young age.
Now we’re not sure this tweet by blue-check writer Rob Rousseau has anything to do with Payton — but he’s done nothing to correct all of his followers who are assuming it does.
if you devote your life to gleefully stepping on the necks of marginalized people and then die in a somewhat comical fashion, some people are gonna chuckle at it. sorry that's just the way it goes unfortunately

How to let everyone know you're a garbage person in one tweet https://t.co/SMMpqh32nB

Mission accomplished. The thing about garbage people is they tend to attract garbage followers, who were all too happy to play along.
This is a good subtweet.

We started off with the funniest ones, you know, just to lighten the mood.
No she was cruel and evil, and as a result her death is funny

Just checking … are these people really posting “crying with laughter” emoji after a 26-year-old woman was found unconscious by a friend and who died in a coma just days after Christmas?
The Twitter-approved American political Left right here. @jack must be so proud.

“If you have different political views than me, it must be because you’re a terrible monster! I can’t wait to dunk on you when you die! I’m a moral person!”
When you get to this point, you need to take a deep dumpster dive as to why it is you’re such a piece of shit as a person.

No. You are a ghoulish heartless person. There are very few people I will not be sad about when they die, those being serial killers, murdering dictators and the like. This is disgusting of you. Many comments here the same.

As a libertarian who disagrees w/ damn near every policy of both sides, I still hope you don’t die tragically & suddenly, leaving your family & friends miserable in its wake.
And I hope some miserable bastard isn’t cheering for your death because they disagree on policy.
— Zachary Jennings (@zachjenn96) December 29, 2018
I don't care what side of the ideological spectrum you're on. This tweet exemplifies everything that is wrong with us today. It's not cool and should not be celebrated or cheered.

The left is made up of truly evil people
— Dred (@Dred_44) December 29, 2018
No, see, they just care more about the “marginalized” and this is how they show their compassion for their fellow human beings.
