As Twitchy very recently reported, Democrat strategist James Carville threw a wet blanket over the puddle that was supposed to be a huge blue wave, admitting, “It’s not going to be a wave election.”
Now it seems that CNN’s Jake Tapper has come to the same conclusion:
Jake Tapper: "This is not a blue wave"

Tapper: there’s no blue wave
— Rich Lowry (@RichLowry) November 7, 2018
"This is not a blue wave," says @jaketapper on @CNN. "This is not a wave that is knocking out all kinds of Republicans." #Midterms2018

That is right, but is Tapper the only person working for CNN who calls things close to the way they are? Yes! https://t.co/bSwVGxVvuD

There never was. Sane people knew that. More propaganda from the corrupt media. Disgraceful! https://t.co/kF1EJJ4ICh

Still a lot of election night left, but if R's gain seats in Senate and do hold House, maybe Dems will finally realize TDS is not enough to run on, and maybe voters do really care about the great economy. #MAGA #Trump2020 #KAG!

Duh. The Democrats aren't as popular as they think they are.
