Kate Bennett’s Twitter bio says she covers first lady Melania Trump for CNN. So we’re not quite sure why a journalist assigned to the first lady would be posting texts like this one instead of, you know, covering the news?
A text from a friend last night while watching @FLOTUS interview: “She’s Trump, just in a better-fitting suit.”

So she’s indistinguishable from her husband outside her wardrobe? That doesn’t sound like … news. It sounds terribly sexist and misinformed.

Should I start posting all my texts of people being critical of CNN? It’s a lot

This is the CNN reporter on the FLOTUS beat.
Half of America longs for the good old days of the media, at least pretending, to be objective.

Your friend should have texted you that it's probably not appropriate to post this thought while you're assigned as a reporter on the FLOTUS beat for a major network. https://t.co/qENM2O8Leo

I was going to post that you are a hack, but then I saw you work for CNN and I just feel sorry for you …
