Kirsten Powers to Sen. Susan Collins: That was no circus, that was women protesting

If you watched the Senate’s confirmation vote on Brett Kavanaugh Saturday afternoon, surely you heard the relentless screaming of protesters being pulled from the gallery as they tried to stop the roll-call vote — and what’s scary is how many women on social media are admitting that they were screaming too: at home, in the car, wherever.

Frankly, we’d call the whole confirmation process after Sen. Dianne Feinstein chucked that Hail Mary a circus, but Kirsten Powers was here Friday to remind Sen. Susan Collins and the rest of us that that so-called circus was women protesting.
