Seeing as Brett Kavanaugh was finally confirmed by the Senate by a 50-48 vote and sworn in as the newest justice on the Supreme Court Saturday afternoon, we’d think something like the swearing-in ceremony would be the photo of the day.
But we don’t possess the keen eye of CNN’s media reporter, Brian Stelter, who nominated another image as the most memorable.
The most memorable image of the day. pic.twitter.com/GYAT55Kv2H

Yeah, no. Some random clown on a statue? Pass.
We are not fake news, Mr President. https://t.co/c2B0X1tnxe

Or how about this one? Your bias is showing again Brian. pic.twitter.com/5885ajka7b
— Geoffrey Dickens (@GCDickens) October 6, 2018
Oh really? The swearing in picture hadn't happened yet, when I posted the gif. Nice try re: bias though!
— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) October 6, 2018
Yes, Weebles, you're biased.
— My Friends Call Me Boof (@JammieWF) October 6, 2018
Maybe Stelter could have held off until he saw the swearing-in picture instead of going with clown on statue.
— Adam Baldwin (@AdamBaldwin) October 6, 2018
Is this a continuation of your biased reporting??? Nothing to see here. Sorry the most memorable image was when @VP read the tally. You my friend are #fakenews

Did she ask that statue for their consent before sitting in its lap? Some might say that’s sexual assault. https://t.co/DsKAXQ9fN3

I am embarrassed for you. Shame.
— MissMe (@MissMe2018) October 6, 2018
I think that the most memorable would be the picture of the new Justice being sworn in.
But hey, what do I know, right?
