We’re old enough to remember having young children in the house during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment, and in those days a quick thumb on the mute button was a necessity.
Well, as far as we know, SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh has not been accused of rape (actually he was, but the accuser recanted), but we’re seeing all sorts of pieces about ’80s rape culture at private schools and in the movies. So, sure, it could have happened to the AP’s Jonathan Lemire:
