Now California is proposing to legislate what drinks restaurants can serve your kids

First several cities in California decided to ban plastic straws, and a new bill proposes to limit what children can drink as well in an effort to combat childhood obesity.

ABC7 Eyewitness News reports that the legislation, introduced by state Sen. Bill Monning, would restrict restaurants to serving only water or unflavored milk with children’s meals. The bill passed the state assembly Thursday.

And if the kid is lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy his only option is water? And how do the politicians know how often they eat out? Maybe it's just monthly, or only on special occasions, where a treat is not a problem. Government needs to stop parenting!
