Omarosa Manigault-Newman, who resigned from her White House position in December, has a book to sell and she’s not having any trouble getting booked on shows like TODAY, Meet the Press, and Hardball, especially since she teased the notion that she secretly recorded conversations with the president.
On Monday evening it was her turn to appear on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, and Omarosa said she’d be more than happy to share whatever she has with Robert Mueller if his office calls her again.

But what’s this business about Mueller’s office calling her again? They called her before? Just to chat, or what?
Omarosa was just asked on Hardball if she had anything of interest to Robert Mueller. She answered, "If his office calls again…" — revealing, I believe for the first time, that she's been contacted by the special counsel.

Claiming – not revealing

I heard that, too. In context, I’m not sure if she didn’t mean that she was repeating her willingness to speak with Mueller.

And no one is more credible than her, especially when Mueller's office won't comment on who they've reached out to. If he wants to talk to someone he doesn't leave a message saying, "Get back to me, if you can. Otherwise, no biggie." https://t.co/RvoWx9tDy8

I don’t believe this. If his office had called her she would have been deposed.

When you say Omarosa “reveal[ed]” that Mueller’s folks contacted her, does that mean you have other reporting that confirms her assertion? If not, perhaps she’s just making it up.
— Eric Columbus (@EricColumbus) August 13, 2018
Not quite: her saying so, does not make it so… produce evidence or corroborate
— ?.?.?????? ?? (@cee_dub) August 13, 2018
You should confirm whether or not she was interviewed by Mueller
— Harrison Kaiser (@harri_kai) August 13, 2018
So, this implies that his office called before and she had nothing to say? Now she does? Zero credibility and highly suspect.
— Mary Bentley (@MissMazeppa99) August 13, 2018
IF…. she’s telling the truth… questionable ?????
— Michael Duff (@mhduff61) August 13, 2018
It was probably Sasha Baron Cohen that called her.

The special counsel is calling up every defector selling themselves out for media attention for dirt? That doesn’t sound desperate or unprofessional at all.
— Josh Dawson (@JDawson168) August 13, 2018
Kaitlin please That woman is nuts and has no credibility. I’m sure she never had that kind of access. You people just don’t quit.
— m3875 (@marniehutchinso) August 14, 2018
Well, it’s very probable she can sell a few more books to the Resistance if people think she has secret recordings she’s going to share with Robert Mueller.
I think she was sending an invitation to Mueller so she can have a bigger footnote in history.
— Ana Ryan (@MissAnaTX) August 13, 2018
It's not outside the realm of possibility that she knew what she was saying – having been handed a name-dropping opportunity which she took to build up her own importance – when she said that, simply for effect. But interesting, indeed.
— Ross Henderson (@rosshen69908962) August 13, 2018
Or it could be that she is just putting something out there to grab attention and give her an excuse to get back in the news when the current furor dies down. It's a sad commentary on the state of our society when she is a headliner. Rgds, Mark

She wasn't even important enough to be told by Trump himself that she was fired. What is she even going to know or be asked? Come on, think logically.
— Nickarama (@Nickarama1) August 13, 2018
She lies with impunity.
— Victoria Balfour (@VickiBalfour) August 13, 2018
Why is anyone listen to anything this opportunistic goofball has to say? She has zero credibility.
— Janice Goldsborough (@JanGoldsborough) August 13, 2018
The woman watched too much Erika Kane growing up… everything is a drama with her. Quit giving her attention pls.

This is a women who would not recognize the truth if it was flashing neon. Anything she says is self-serving and unreliable. Stop giving her what she wants and drop her name and any thing about her from the media

Oh look, another reality TV cliffhanger.
Release the tapes now or STFU.

It’s great to see the hate Trump media treating Omarosa like a serious person, keep it going?
— Mz. J. (@jaybluuee) August 14, 2018
First it was @eugenegu then it was stormy. Then came avenatti. Now omarosa. How many L's can you guys in the media take before midterms?
— Ducky ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (@thatjerkme) August 14, 2018
First stormy. Now Omarosa. Media hate for trump is making millionaires of these attention seeking idiots.

Too bad Omarosa will be too busy with her book tour to answer Mueller’s phone call when it finally comes.
