As Twitchy reported earlier Monday, Sen. Rand Paul said he was meeting with President Trump to discuss revoking ex-CIA director and Resistance leader John Brennan’s security clearance.

Apparently, Brennan isn’t the only one at risk of losing his security clearance. During today’s White House press briefing, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that President Trump is considering revoking the security clearances of several Obama-era officials:

We can think of some very good reasons for stripping these officials’ security clearance (YouTube video, anyone?), but Resistance leader Rob Reiner considers it “a big step” toward autocracy. We’re not sure why; none of these people is currently working in government. He probably just wants things to go smoothly when Trump and his entire administration are removed as illegitimate and Hillary Clinton is installed as the rightful president.
