Whenever big news breaks — say, the impending retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy — old tweets always manage to gain new life. Upon hearing the news, Twitter archaeologists did some digging and came up with this 2015 gem from Hillary Clinton:
A Republican president could nominate as many as 4 Supreme Court justices. Why that should terrify you: https://t.co/gaRy4MSDzo
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) December 22, 2015
Only four? That’s not really terrifying. Four’s a good number for us.
Four in his first term?

I think we know who is most terrified.

Obama’s fav Abraham Lincoln appointed five Supremes. Gotta love history. I am just tickled that I don’t have to be terrifyed under YOUR presidency.

That's just one of the reasons I voted for @realDonaldTrump and why I'll vote for him again. #MAGA #KeepAmericaGreat #SCOTUS

I’d be much more terrified if you were picking them. Btw, you lost. Go away.

But you thought it was gonna be you, so they held them back for you to nominate. Bwah ha ha!

We are electrified. Not terrified. Deplorables are large and loud and we know the Constitution. I thank God every day for President Trump.
