Sen. Chuck Schumer says legislation is not the way to go, co-sponsors legislation

As Twitchy reported earlier, it seemed as though Sen. Chuck Schumer was going to do everything in his power to pass the buck and lay the situation at the border at the feet of President Trump. He rejected a Republican proposal to address the border crisis, insisting that Trump use his pen to fix the mess.

“There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense,” Schumer said. “Legislation is not the way to go here when it’s so easy for the president to sign it.”

So if legislation is not the way to go, why is Schumer co-sponsoring Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s “Keep Families Together Act”?

He knows he doesn’t have any explaining to do — he’s playing politics and everyone already knows it.
