Anyone remember the other day when director and producer Judd Apatow called Attorney General Jeff Sessions “a f**king kidnapper” and went on a tear against Fox?
“Who has a movie, TV show, sporting event, news show at Fox?” Apatow continued. “How can you remain silent when they promote these policies?”
One person who’s not remaining silent is Steve Levitan, producer of “Modern Family,” who says he’ll see the show through to the end and then look for another studio in which to set up shop.
Fox Studio has been a wonderful home for most of my career – so many amazing people there who share the concerns about @FoxNews but aren’t in the position to speak out.

I have no problem with fact-based conservatism (such as WSJ), but @FoxNew’s 23-hour-a-day support of the NRA, conspiracy theories and Trump’s lies gets harder to swallow every day as I drive onto that lot to make a show about inclusion.

Actually, fact-based conservatism would support the NRA 24 hours a day, but do go on.
I look forward to seeing #ModernFamily through to the end and then, sale or no sale, setting up shop elsewhere.

So he’s not really leaving Fox until “Modern Family” has run its course, and then he’s bailing for a studio that doesn’t have the anchor of Fox News weighing it down.

Sounds good to us.
Translation: I disagree with political opinions & analysis so I will escape to an echo chamber where, even though it will, too, be opinion-based, it'll be opinions I mostly share.
And this is ok; good for him for doing what he thinks is right, but the sanctimony is a bit much. https://t.co/HfkYjql0Ku

Doesn't the Disney/Fox deal separate 20th Century TV from Fox News anyway? https://t.co/eWnHKHu2Fm

Meaningless virtue signaling, Fox Studios will be sold to Disney or Comcast any day now. https://t.co/ZlQUaqxULA

A cunning plan
1. Quit Fox studio gaining street cred with unhinged friends
2. Disney buys Fox
3. Disney owns ABC where he already works
4. He goes back to work for"ABC Studios" https://t.co/fh9UxmHHGh https://t.co/GkJQFjqn1N— Chickenhawk Tapper (@MomcorpsFRC) June 19, 2018
Now people are wondering what Seth MacFarlane is going to do, now that he’s said he’s embarrassed to work for Fox.
Seth MacFarlane and Steve Levitan say they are increasingly embarrassed to work for the same company that owns Fox News. https://t.co/J16LRO3C7B

Oh no, please don’t leave Fox and take “The Orville” with you! Anything but that.
