More: Lisa Page tells Peter Strzok maybe he's meant to protect the country from 'that menace'

CNN’s Chris Cillizza isn’t alone in predicting that Republicans will pounce on a text from FBI agent Peter Strzok in which he assures Lisa Page that Trump won’t ever become president: “No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok replied.

But wait … there’s more!

Sohrab Ahmari of Commentary highlighted this text exchange between Page and Strzok that should put to rest any suspicions that the two had an active bias against Donald Trump. “Trump should go f himself” is just part of the exchange.

Check out this message that Page sent to Strzok, apparently inspired by Trump’s criticism of the Gold Star family who spoke at the DNC: “…maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace.”
