As Twitchy reported earlier, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta was disgusted to learn that a celebrity like Kim Kardashian was at the White House talking about prison reform.

Stephen Miller and others then gave Acosta a photo tour of all the celebrities who had met with President Obama over the years (say, rapper Macklemore, who teamed up with the administration to tackle the opioid crisis).
But what about Acosta himself when it was his turn to talk about prison reform? It turns out his expert source was singer John Legend.
Artist @johnlegend to @CNNsotu – "I'm going to push the president to get more involved in criminal justice reform."

John Legend: “We don’t need prison as the solution for every problem.” Now on @CNNsotu with @Acosta

He’s not just a singer, you see … he’s also married to model Chrissy Teigen.

Acosta: Absolutely outrageous Kim at the White House! Celebrities shouldn't be commenting! John Legend, what's your political take? ?
