Kassy Dillon, founder of Lone Conservative and Campus Reform contributor, on Saturday attended the 2018 Women of Color Trailblazers Leadership Conference at Mount Holyoke College. Saturday’s keynote speakers at the free event were Women’s March founders Tamika Mallory, Carmen Perez, and Linda Sarsour.
First things first: here’s the question card Dillion filled out, referring to one of Sarsour’s classic tweets from before the march:
You think they’ll read my question? pic.twitter.com/T4W6iUeKmp
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
“Linda, Do you regret making harsh comments to a FGM [female genital mutilation] survivor [Ayaan Hirsi Ali] and claiming that she does not deserve her vagina?”
Spoiler: No, they didn’t ask Dillon’s question, but she did give a great overview of the event, which again, was free and open to the public and likely not prefaced with trigger warnings and counseling sessions like a Ben Shapiro campus speech.
1/ My school is hosting a “discussion” with the leaders of the Women’s March today. Including @lsarsour and @TamikaDMallory.
The event is laughable. Here’s why:
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
2/ They have a road blocked off and security present. There’s only about 75 people here for this event that they’ve been promoting for eight months.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
3/ It was supposed to start 16 minutes ago and the room is still very empty. (There’s free Indian food so I’m pretty pumped about that.)
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
4/ When walking in I was greeted by signs everywhere saying no recording. I can only wonder why these speakers are afraid to share their views publicly.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
Recommended
5/ I was greeted and given a card to submit to the speakers. So much for “a discussion.”
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
6/ Clearly the leaders of the Women’s March are afraid to answer hard questions and share their views publicly. They couldn’t even get more than 75 people to show up to hear them speak on a Women’s college.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
7/ Their movement is losing steam as they continue to associate and cater to antisemitism and extremism.

Hi @TamikaDMallory! Thanks for calling me out in front of the entire room. It’s a shame you’re too afraid to take non-vetted questions.
When’s the next time you’ll be going to an event with rapid antisemite Louis Farrakhan?
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
We think she means “rabid” anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, but hey, rapid works too. They guy doesn’t waste any time blaming the Jews.
“If this were about Trump it would have been easy.”

“In 30 years from now you’ll be asking: ‘where were you during this fascist administration?’” –@lsarsour
Sitting in a room, listening to you exercise your free speech without restriction, actually.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
“Nobody is more criticized in this country than us.” –@lsarsour
I wouldn’t be so sure…
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
So apparently saying “femtor” instead of “mentor” is now a thing.
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
Femtor? Well, that was certainly worth the months-long wait. We hope the Indian food was good.
My question wasn’t asked… who is surprised?
— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) April 7, 2018
Too bad her question about trolling Ayaan Hirsi Ali and wishing that her vagina could be taken away wasn’t aired.
Not a prayer…

They’ll read it and then melt like the Nazis at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

God bless, @KassyDillon. She's fighting the good fight. https://t.co/ine299KWpF

Unlikely. Sarsour is an extremist without peer, and in my opinion even more extreme than some of the worst personalities in the alt-right movement. She is actively committed to subverting and destabilizing American democracy and the US government. @mtholyoke should be ashamed.

Damn, girl. You just earned yourself a follower. pic.twitter.com/GUpEpQSRP6

Check out this thread. The idea that @lsarsour represents anything other than anti-Semitism bigotry, and Islamic extremism is ridiculous. "Discussion" (with vetted questions to avoid further exposing their indefensible positions). What a joke! https://t.co/LfM58GF18s

REMINDER: The College Republican’s event is on a Wednesday. Everyone is welcome, and we certainly won’t be vetting your questions. https://t.co/pj4UrbpEnA pic.twitter.com/X8yGQeC4c8

Free Israeli food and they won’t be vetting questions!
