Never mind about Gary Lineker, the former footballer turned TV sportscaster. What’s important is that Israeli diplomat Elad Ratson thinks he should be aware of what he shares on his social media accounts, such as videos of Israeli soldiers lashing out at and arresting Palestinian children.
Ratson on Monday tweeted an unedited video showing the bits that aren’t shared online by Palestinian activists; that is, the deliberate provocation that sometimes leads to arrests. Note how the children doing the taunting are making sure to record the entire exchange in case a solider’s patience is stretched too far.
·@GaryLineker these Palestinian videos of child arrests are specially staged to solicit empathy from people like yourself. What pseudo journalists like @benabyad conveniently omit in editing are the violent provocations leading to these "on camera" arrests#BeAwareOfWhatYouShare pic.twitter.com/nNHe4D14FR

Palestinians stage scenes coercing children to violently provoke Israeli soldiers, soliciting arrests while cameras conveniently present. Later, provocations are edited out of the footage, resulting in empathy extorting videos. What should Israeli soldiers do in these situations?

Author Brad Thor calls it “absolutely shameful.”

He's slapped in the face and still backs off. I'd ask "where are the parents… but they're likely filming

The violence in this clip is sobering. How can these Israeli soldiers tolerate such intense violent provocation?! The self control and professionalism on display by these soldiers is second to none. Professional military v pesky children.

That is how good shoulders should act. Praise these Israeli Soldiers.

It’s the confidence with which these women approach the soldiers that’s telling.
They’re approaching someone they know to be likely to use only reasonable force.

In my time, these 2 little brats would have been taken away with handcuffs. But now the orders are nonsense. IDF's general cuffs his soldiers. Shame!

These women/children were directed to assault armed soldiers with the explicit intent of getting a reaction and possibly killed. https://t.co/TZ7pdCL2z6

Look how hands-on these Palestinian kids are with IDF troops, even slapping one in the face. Speaks volumes to the true nature of IDF presence… I've seen many other examples with my own eyes. NOT the brutal fearful oppressors they're made out to be. https://t.co/3xXxvrJULO
