Just a reminder: Valerie Plame still wants to buy Twitter so she can ban Trump for breaking rules

Valerie Plame Wilson is taking a good deal of heat today over her tweeting of an anti-Semitic piece called, “America’s Jews Are Driving America’s Wars” — even mild-mannered CNN anchor Jake Tapper tweeted “holy crap” in response, adding that “the blatantly anti-Semitic title wasn’t enough of a heads up.”

Plame Wilson has since apologized for posting the piece, although only after asking people to put aside their biases and read the entire “provacative, but thoughtful” article. Only a couple hours later, though, she tweeted that she screwed up and had only skimmed the piece herself. Hmm …

With Plame Wilson back in the headlines, this might be a good time to check in on her GoFundMe effort to raise $1 billion, purchase a controlling interest in Twitter, and then ban President Trump from tweeting, thus saving the world from war with North Korea.

Well, it looks like she’s been pledged nearly $89,000 in just over a month, so she’s still a little shy of that $1 billion goal. Any money left over, mind you, will go to Global Zero, a nonprofit organization leading the resistance to nuclear war.

Maybe Plame Wilson would like to take this opportunity to ban herself from Twitter, now that she’s seen firsthand the effect her “doozy” of a mistake has had. Should everyone report her to Twitter for anti-Semitic posts and have her banned from the service? Or better that she just keep tweeting and reveal more about who she really is?
