President Trump on Tuesday night gave some credence to the theory that he had little to do with the writing of “The Art of the Deal” way back when. After dispatching Attorney General Jeff Sessions to rescind DACA Tuesday morning and passing the ball to Congress, Trump tweeted that he’d “revisit the issue” in six months if Congress didn’t legalize DACA by then.
Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do). If they can't, I will revisit this issue!

If the idea was to take all the pressure off Congress to act, it probably worked.
Wait, what? https://t.co/hGDMOq67mx

"Revisit the issue" how? What does this mean? https://t.co/cOg9TH8jfs

If the goal is to get Congress to act this tweet probably doesn't helphttps://t.co/8XtCFd691S

Doesn't that take away Congress's incentive to actually do something? https://t.co/YQYD3tqV88

ALWAYS bet on Congress doing nothing. Why encourage them?
Also: If you are in Congress, the urgency to do something just went way down with Trump's "revisit" language https://t.co/9z5zLh21Pd

Anyone know if there's a chapter in Art of Deal called How to Undermine What Little Leverage Your Have Left?
I'm guessing there might be. https://t.co/P7sWyVPXWN

The President is now saying he'll do something about #DACA if Congress doesn't legalize the very program he just ended. https://t.co/e3R6iRIbAF

Trump is basically saying if Congress doesn't legalize DACA he might just do it himself. ??? https://t.co/WTXWqpxmsa

Why would states drop their lawsuit now? https://t.co/NsRmAR301z
— Phil Kerpen (@kerpen) September 6, 2017
Either means more hostage-shooting or he's going to return to his prior position of treating DACA as constitutional https://t.co/IrKdFb2IqV

For all the attention being given to this, Trump was giving speeches opposing DACA long before he announced his candidacy https://t.co/dfI8FykZVp

Predictable. DACA's probably gonna end up like Obamacare. Dead. Not Dead. Dead. Not dea– https://t.co/hWHJwT61Wj
