AP photographer follows Lena Dunham spy manual at ballpark, overhears homophobic slur

The AP reports that photographer Mark J. Terrill didn’t hear the first part of a heated exchange between the Oakland A’s Matt Joyce and a fan, but he did overhear Joyce call the fan a gay slur and challenge him to a fight.

We are all Lena Dunham.

American Airlines might not have been able to bring Dunham’s thought criminals to justice, but Matt Joyce was slapped with a two-game suspension without pay and will “take part in a public outreach initiative with PFLAG, a family and ally organization supporting LGBTQ community.”
