You can’t say Americans haven’t been well trained to respond to a terror incident. First, find a secure space where you can operate your iPhone, and second, tweet some sort of statement denouncing hatred in all its forms.
Cosmopolitan has a much larger audience than most individuals on Twitter but for the most part followed protocol. After a suicide bomber killed 22 people in Manchester Monday night, the magazine chose to highlight a Muslim taxi driver who offered free rides home for any concertgoers stranded by the fatal blast.

That tweet has been deleted, likely in part due to a complaint from the Sikh Press Association. Seems they weren’t amused that Cosmopolitan had chosen to use a Sikh to demonstrate its point about Muslims.
