Though President Trump’s gathering of House Republicans in the Rose Garden to celebrate the House’s passage of the AHCA dominated the news Thursday, the president also hosted guests to witness his signing of his Executive Order on Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty.

That executive order doesn’t really have teeth, though; even the ACLU issued a statement saying, in effect, it wouldn’t bother to sue because there was nothing new worth suing over.
We thought we'd have to sue Trump today. But it turned out the order signing was an elaborate photo-op with no discernible policy outcome.

Even conceding that that signing was little more than a photo-op, we’ll take it, if only to see the Little Sisters of the Poor as honored guests at the White House — that’s a seismic shift.

The Little Sisters of the Poor received a standing ovation at the White House; hopefully they’re enjoying their evening and not surfing social media.

How about the ordeal of raising children you can't afford. They should be ashamed of themselves. Sickening

How can this even be happening? How did America lose the idea of being its brother's keeper?

"Their fight against" contraception requirements – do you realize how ridiculous it sounds to "fight" such a thing?

I'm gonna be sick. More unwanted pregnancies is JUST what we need. Just make sure that they don't get healthcare.
— kimwagner (@kimwagner) May 4, 2017
I wonder how many of those sisters have adopted children from drug addict parents whose praying did no good.
— Matthew (@bmxftre) May 4, 2017
Then they better stock up on diapers for the unwanted children they'll be taking care of.

Women who are not allowed to have sex shouldn't have a say about contraception, abortion etc. They don't know what they're talking about.

They didn’t say, but they did release a video statement.
