As Twitchy reported, Orlando Master Sgt. Debra Clayton, a wife and mother, was fatally gunned down Jan. 9 — National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day — by a man suspected of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend in December. A second officer, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy First Class Norman Lewis, was killed on a motorcycle while pursuing the suspect.
That suspect got away in a hijacked car, but Orlando Police announced Tuesday night that they have suspect Markeith Loyd in custody.

Police are preparing for a news conference, but it doesn’t look like there’s any question that Loyd wasn’t happy about being brought in.
