There was very sad news in the entertainment world Tuesday as “Growing Pains” star, songwriter, and TV host Alan Thicke passed away at age 69. Thicke reportedly suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his teenage son and was rushed to the hospital.
So sad is the passing of Alan Thicke. Such a good husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace dear Alan.

Most people would likely agree that 2016 has worn out its welcome, but could we please agree also that there’s life beyond politics, or at least there should be. We never thought we’d be the ones to request a safe space, but actress Lisa Edelstein proved that some people can’t give it a rest, even in a wish to rest in peace.
RIP Alan Thicke. Seems like everyone is checking out before the Trumpacolypse.

At least you could use his death for a lame joke. https://t.co/9V2eXldfbF

Time to review the ground rules:
Ground rules in case you want to tie a recent death to Trump:
1. Don't.
2. See 1.— NeoN: Automataster (@neontaster) December 14, 2016

Absolutely insensitive and unnecessary. Someone's father, husband & grandfather died today. Do not politicise it.

Would you want someone to say this about your family member?? You're cold as ice.

You should be ashamed using someone's death as a political soapbox. No class. No respect.
— Chavis 2020 (@benjah_min) December 14, 2016
WHAT is wrong with you?? What a disrespectful statement. His family is mourning. He was beloved by many.

What a sick unfeeling thing to say about the death of a good man. Used to be a fan. USED to.
