Katy Perry reveals some specifics of her revolution, starting with a donation to Planned Parenthood

Although a lot of entertainers initially backed Bernie Sanders, singer Katy Perry was on board with Hillary Clinton from the beginning, performing on a tiny stage in Iowa more than a year ago before taking some “historic” selfies backstage. Perry also performed at the Democratic National Convention, promised to “vote naked,” dressed up as Clinton for Halloween, toured college campuses, and more.

So it wasn’t surprising that Perry didn’t take the election results well, blacking out her Twitter avatar and tweeting in all caps that “THE REVOLUTION IS COMING.” Since then she’s let some of the details leak.

Then came a bit of a course correction, perhaps after Perry saw that the masses were taking the instruction to “fight” a bit too literally.

As Perry herself would say, “back to like being like serious.” She does have a specific plan to fight for what is right, and that involves donating to Planned Parenthood.

Wow, that’s quite a lengthy story. For those who can’t see the text, here’s an excerpt:

Planned Parenthood educated me on my body and my reproductive health, so that I could focus on my dreams and using my voice until I knew the timing was right for me to make a plan to have a family. Since then, I have been able to focus wholeheartedly on bringing messages of strength and becoming a voice for others. Without this education, I may have had a different life path.

See, if not for Planned Parenthood, Katy Perry might not have had the freedom to inspire us all with her “messages of strength” and ended up following some loser life path like the rest of us.

But what if she’s right, and there really is a chance the federal government might stop soaking taxpayers out of hundreds of millions of dollars annually to prop up Planned Parenthood? That’s the best thing we’ve ever heard out of Katy Perry’s mouth.

You won’t hear us roar, but this girl gives her best shot at a battle cry:
