Until there’s a definitive study proving there’s no link between a vegan diet and whatever the hell is wrong with the people at PETA, everyone should keep eating meat just to be safe.
PETA has launched too many ridiculous campaigns to single out any one for comparison, but the organization keeps managing to outdo itself. In a new spot, women recount sexual assaults, but not their own; rather, they’re speaking on behalf of livestock that are artificially inseminated.
No mother should have to go through any of this. pic.twitter.com/DjbWQcFTX3

That really is terrible. Calves should only be made in the wild, and only when a daddy bull and a mommy heifer love each other very much.
no survivor of sexual assault should have to go through their trauma being compared to an animal's when we've already been dehumanized

this is seriously SO disgusting. How dare you dehumanize victims of sexual abuse to promote your own cultural ideas
— syd ✨ (@literallysyd) November 3, 2016
So @peta believe that animals are capable of informed consent. I'm fucking shaking and feel fucking sick @UnburntWitch
— pop tart (@pop_t_arts) November 3, 2016
Yeah, the premise sort of falls apart in less time than it takes to watch the spot.
the scariest thing about this is that multiple people approved it. fucking idiots. totally tone deaf.

stop anthropomorphizing, animals don't experience sexuality the way humans do, consent isn't really a thing

So a cow doesn't really get a choice in choosing a mating partner either. Ranchers usually choose the bull for them. So is that rape too?
— Joe Montemayor (@joe_swift13) November 3, 2016
Holy shit this is horrible. You all should feel bad about equating eating meat to fucking rape.

.@peta wow, considering how hard we have to argue that HUMAN WOMEN don't deserve rape, this is not only dehumanizing but sadly ineffective
— Antifa Trash Panda (@kittystryker) November 3, 2016
when you go as low as comparing animal eating to being raped, that's where I draw the line. #FUCKPETA
— rachel (@rachelsuth1) November 3, 2016
.@peta This is so unbelievably unacceptable, I can't even begin to put it into words.

They're famous for it. This is not the first time they've dehumanized women. They are a foul organization.

.@peta I'm vegetarian but this ad makes me want to take down a cow with my bare hands.
