Garry Kasparov unloads on Donald Trump's Gettysburg address: 'Was Ford's Theater unavailable?'

Russian chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov has been sizing up the candidates from his perspective as a child of the Soviet Union, and he hasn’t been impressed, in turn slamming Bernie Sanders for his socialist ideals and Donald Trump for reminding him a bit too much of Vladimir Putin (and John Gotti).

That Gotti comparison was harsh, but it was nothing compared to Kasparov’s evaluation of Trump’s campaign appearance in Gettysburg, Pa., on Saturday.

Dang.

Parts of it were outstanding; it really is a shame Trump didn’t kick off his campaign with his 100-day plan and hammer it relentlessly.

Is there room in the burn unit for one more? Kasparov is getting plenty of heat himself.

Just for the record, Kasparov’s made it clear he’s not a big Hillary fan either.
