The White House already has its preferred climate change expert in the form of mechanical engineer and children’s TV host Bill Nye. Nye hasn’t published any of his own research findings into climate science, but as Twitchy has noted, he does like to take pictures of the weather on his TV as proof that climate change is real.

More expense? How much would it cost to maintain the planet’s current average temperature within 2 degrees, assuming that were even possible?
Democratic Party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has taken the reins as the voice of Congress warning of climate catastrophe, and for her part Tuesday she retweeted a Guardian article about April’s record temperatures along with a dare to Republicans to continue denying climate change.
